A 3.4-magnitude earthquake rattled parts of East Hawaii on Monday.

The temblor occurred at 12:29 p.m. and was located near Glenwood at a depth of 8.6 miles, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

It was reportedly felt in the Hilo and Puna areas, USGS said.
